What I liked

Knowledgeable staff, friendly and professional. Worked well together - although busy had time to talk to relatives.

General atmosphere of SSU - everyone working flat out but not ignoring patient needs.

Good food choices and delicious (so my dad said)

Handled a difficult conversation with me and then with my father as well in a very sensitive way. not rushed - lots of explanations about diagnosis and next steps...offered options

I had absolute confidence in the whole team

What could be improved

SSU looks a bit old and tired so well done for it being clean and tidy!

We're so glad that you found the Lister's SSU team so helpful and supportive of your father - we'll make sure they get to see what you've written. With regard to SSU itself, the whole of the Lister is being redeveloped over the next few years. In the meantime, we would like to wish you and your father well for the future.
