"Excellent collaborative working"

This is a late review, but earlier this year we had, on 2 occasions to get emergency care and respite for my mother in law after a tragic family event.

Social services were extremely helpful with their assistance, and we needed to call on the Drs at the surgery to help us work with the social services and community nursing team.

From calling the the surgery, we were soon able to speak to the GPS who came to our rescue and avoided her having to go to hospital, which had it not been for the services at the surgery, is where she would have ended up.

We are acutely aware that general practices all over the UK are tragically underfunded, so we didn't expect such a well co ordinated, timely response to our call for help.

I'm sorry it has taken us so long to thank all those involved.
