"I was sent to the Rapid Assessment Unit..."

About: North Manchester General Hospital

What I liked

I was sent to the Rapid Assessment Unit on H4 by my Gp because I was having pain when breathing. From my arrival to departure several hours later I was treated brilliantly. The two female nurses that took my blood pressure and blood samples were great, they reassured me and were very efficient. The Nurse Practitioner that examined me put me at ease even though I was very nervous about what was happening. All in all I was very reassured and went home feeling a lot happier than I had been when I left my GP surgery. Thanks to all the staff on there - you are brilliant!

What could be improved

The only improvement I would recommend is doing something about the food served at lunch time!

Anything else?

I would not be at all worried about being sent there again.
