What I liked
I gave birth to my daughter in the new birth centre in August 2010. I have nothing but praise for the midwifes. All the facilities were new and very clean - like a private hospital. The midwife who delivered my daughter was brillant and really looked after me and offered my help and encouragement when I really needed it.
After the birth I was transfered to my own private room (a lot better than the Trinity Ward where I was after my son's birth). This room was also clean and had an en suite which was lovely!
What could be improved
The food!
Anything else?
Would recommend Chesterfield Royal to anyone who is about to give birth. The facilities have vastly improved since I gave birth to my son in Oct 2008.
