"Almost 20 months later and I am back at surgery"

I am here again leaving a review and whilst it is as easy as Facebook I wonder if leaving reviews have been useful to those who want an excellent GP practice. I hope so as this practice really do care.

Getting older, when you still want to be adventurous, is not easy. In my head I can still keep up with my great grandchildren but my body is starting to say I can’t. I need a surgery that will keep me safe and well Duke Medical Centre are excellent at that.

I approached my GP again because I was feeling just generally unwell. I ached, had pains and definitely had more cramp than I used to get. My doctor took time to talk me through how I was feeling ordered a lot of blood tests. The conclusion is that I am low in vitamin D, so low that I need to have tablets for it. I had no idea that this could cause so many problems, thank you for taking me seriously as I did not know what to tell you was wrong with me.

I like that this practice take time to listen and discuss the options with me. I feel they will help to keep me young whilst growing old. Do move to this practice if you want excellent care.
