What I liked

That my daughter who was 14 at the time of her operation was treated as a adult and listened to.She was very nervous but all her questions were answered in a way she understood.Reassurance was giving throughout all care giving to her.

What could be improved

Nothing first class treatment from first class staff.........

Anything else?

Although we lived 45 minutes drive from Freeman I was grateful my daughter was seen here..Thankfully when we went to see the Consultant and his team he picked her condition up straight away ASD.She underwent open heart surgery on the 15th of September 2009..the Consultant who performed my daughters surgery was fantastic and the ICU nurses were amazing.

Who knows what might have been if my daughters condition was not picked up as i have learnt that it could of caused serious problems later on.........
