"Lack of communication at Calderdale Hospital"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I went to the medical admissions unit of the Calderdale Royal Hospital for a blood test because i wanted to rule out whether I had migraine or something else.

I got there at 2:30pm and did not leave the hospital till about 1am in the morning. The nurses were fine and junior doctors were amazing, occasionally, one came round to check on how I was doing.

After the blood test, the registrar did not tell me the test results. All she said was I had migraine which I am very much aware of because I have had migraine for the past 30 years.

She prescribe for me something I had already tried, I went back the next day to pick up my prescription and the day staff had no idea what I was talking about because the night staff kept no record.

I will definitely not go back to that hospital, the staff lack communication and they make you feel less and useless sometime.
