"How I felt on my visit"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

I had an appointment at the princess royal hospital on Monday the 23rd of October, how embarrassing did I find the pre op assessment ward there was no confidentiality at all healthcare assistants and doctors spoke out loud and in front of other patients and there husbands and partners, I felt totally embarrassed and couldn’t concentrate on what was being said to me as I felt it was being told to everyone else in the room I will never forget this experience as I was mortified by it all ,all

I can suggest is maybe single rooms to go into before you go to your bed hopefully I will never have to return. The department was day surgery.

I have shared your feedback with the Ward Manager and Matron for the Day Surgery Unit so they are aware and can take your comments on board. If you would like us to look into your concerns in more detail please contact PALS on 01952 641222 extension 4382 so we can facilitate this for you.

Kind regards
