From reception, admin', nursing through doctors support and explanation are excellent as my COPD and CHD requirements have proved. Online responses are very quick although telephone often busy if trying to book appoinment, especially in mornings.

With regard to appointment booking, our staff try to answer the telephones as quickly as possible so patients are not kept waiting.

In case you are not already aware, another way of booking GP telephone calls, is through the Patient Access System.

If you know prior to the day you would like a GP phonecall/appointment, you can book this online and add a preferred time if you wish in the ‘confirm your booking’ screen.

You can set up access to the online system at the surgery or by going to patient.info/patientaccess or chilcotesurgery.co.uk and follow the link “Patient Access” to the right-hand side.

Patient Access also allows you to access other services such as ordering your repeat medication.
