"How are you finding the food?"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

(as a friend),

My friend was an in-patient at St Georges Tooting a while ago. She wasn't allowed to eat for several days.

During those days she was visited by many doctors, none of whom had seen her before. Understandably, they needed to read her notes to get up to speed on her case. Also understandably, they wanted to make contact with the patient in a friendly way while looking at the notes. Despite the large "Nil by Mouth" sign almost every single doctor decided that the best patient small talk started with the opener "How are you finding the food?"

It seems an easy thing to put right (and there were many other things wrong that don't).
