About four weeks ago I had a fall, having been fitted with a pacemaker I was concerned that the fall may have affected it so was anxious to speak to someone. I phoned the cardiac physiology clinic, they accommodated an appointment for me later the same day when I was seen by Alison.
Alison was very efficient, very reassuring and having conducted some tests let me know that she would be contacting my GP both about my fall and my concerns and also the rest results. She stressed that the GP would contact me but if they had not done so by the following Monday I was to call her so that she could follow up with my GP. My GP did contact me and again reassured me with the test results.
I also attend the Warfarin clinic each month for a blood test to check the warfarin levels are within the correct range. all the staff there are very friendly and run a very efficient clinic. Lovely people.
