"Took my fears serious and made me feel accepted."

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital

(as the patient),

I am generally scared of hospitals and any kind of surgery, however at Larbert hospital I felt that the Nurses and especially Kirsty and Doreen at the DSW, Dermatology took my fears serious and made me feel accepted.  They tried to have small talk during surgery in order to relax me and after I fainted they made me feel like this happens a lot and is nothing to be embarrassed of. Out of experience I know that this is not always the case.

A big thanks to all of the nurses from Larbert Hospital, DSW, Dermatology. I appreciate your hard work.

DearSH20

Thank you so much for taking the time to get in touch, it really is lovely to hear from our patients, I have also shared your feedback with Doreen, who was also delighted.

It’s important that patients are relaxed and comfortable when they come in for a procedure, I was so pleased to hear that we were able to do that for you, it really can be scary coming in for a procedure no matter how big or small it is, sometimes it can be overwhelming.

I hope that you are recovering well for your minor operation.

Kindest regards
