"Nothing"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital

What I liked

Nothing

Anything else?

I went to the Walk In Centre on a Saturday to be told by a very rude receptionist that the centre is not open on a weekend and this was 'clearly stated on the door'. Having pharyngitis and being unable to talk, my sister said to her that we had assumed that we could just arrive, as it is a 'walk in centre'. She became even more rude and threw what can only be described as a child's tantrum. At which point we left after paying for the car park and had to travel 10 miles to find another walk in centre. I would never go there again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The first person you see as you go in should set a 'bench mark' for the rest of the staff!

We are sorry to note the poor experience, but would advise that the walk in centre is managed by NHS Kirklees and not the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals Trust.
