Many thanks for the senstive, professional information shared with myself and family regarding the end of life management of a family member with dementia.
The information provided by the speech therapy team was accurate, open, honest and relevant to the family's level of knowledge of the condition and enabled the family to discuss with the wider team and make the decision to have them discharged home for the last few days as they would have wished ensuring that they were sourrounded by family in their last days.
