"Appalling discharge from d10"

About: New Cross Hospital / Maternity care

I have recently been discharged from d10 after a 2 night stay and diagnosis of SPD at 24weeks. Most of the staff were absolutely brilliant, very reassuring and understanding ect. On the morning I was being discharged I was told by one midwife to get out of bed and go and get my breakfast, baring in mind I'd been told by doctors and physio I was only allowed to walk to the toilet, anything else I needed I was to ask. I tried to explain this and got a reply of 'well what are you gonna do at home?' (Baring in mind I'm on crutches, and the servery was The other end of The ward, let alone how was I meant to carry The tray back to my bed?) The next thing they offered to get my breakfast but didn't return with it, returned with the doctor instead, who didn't even have my notes with them, they took 1 look at me and said.... there's nothing we can do, you may Aswell go home as your taking up a bed. I was greatful I was being discharged however the way I was discharged was appalling. I was waiting for sample results which I didn't get, was given regular pain relief as an impatient yet sent home with nothing. I asked for a sick note which was told I had to get from my gp. After contacting my gp they are unable to give me a sick note due to all the discharge info they have been given is I have been discharged after having a baby and on crutches. I can assure you my baby is still inside me!! This has now left me wanting to change hospitals for delivery.
