What I liked
My wife's room was really nice, bright airy and clean and it had a conservatory overlooking the garden
The staff always seemed cheerful and helpful despite being very stretched when the hospital was full
What could be improved
More staff needed and more access to physiotherapy teams on a daily basis if possible, for some patients including my wife it was rehab they went there for and the physio had to come from Sevenoaks once a week.
Anything else?
The local community fought long and hard for this hospital to stay open, it has some really good facilities which are underused because of lack of the right staff.
The staff, matron, nurses and non nursing staff all do an incredible job, but need more back up.
This facility should be encouraged to grow as it can provide an incredibly useful method of keeping people out of main wards on the larger hospitals
