"A week in paediatric ward 2C"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital / Respiratory medicine

My son and I recently spent a week on the paediatric ward 2c whilst he was treated for a spontaneous pneumothorax. We just wanted to share our thoughts about our experience. The staff were all fantastic and the ward was clean. We felt very comfortable and well cared for. My son had all his questions answered clearly and patiently, and felt secure and confident in the care he received. We found the nurses, cook, play team and cleaners all to be very friendly, helpful, polite and caring. So thank you to all who made our week so much easier.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We hope your son is feeling better at home. It is really positive to hear that all staff were demonstrating the Trust's values of safe, kind and excellent. Please be reassured this will be shared with the relevant staff.
