About: Heartlands Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I arrived at Birmingham Airport,  ready to fly out. I injured my finger and called for first aid assistance but they were unable to help and advised me to go to hospital. I took a taxi and arrived at Heartlands accident and emergency department.

I informed them I had a flight to catch and could they please see to my finger as soon as possible. They were absolutely brilliant. The receptionist, the nurse (Nurse Phillips) and the X-ray department were all superb. I can't thank them enough. Please pass on my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of them. The management at Heartlands should feel of having such a kind, professional and caring team working for them. Please pass this feedback onto them.
