"Excellent walk-in service in Rotherham"

We used the walk-in at Rotherham this morning, as my son had a minor complaint, which was causing him discomfort and a little pain. I thought it may not warrant a trip to our doctor, nor was it so severe that it should be covered by A&E.

What a service! We walked in, booked in at reception, we were seen by a doctor within 5 minutes. He gave us a prescription for meds, which we handed in at the on-site pharmacy, we were in and out within 15 minutes!

The place itself is clean and warm, with a good comfortable seating area, somewhere for the kids to play and a range of toys for them to play with. The waiting area has large LCD TV's displaying a range of interesting and informative programming/advertising, and there were vending machines for hot & cold drinks, with the option to vend healthy snacks too.

Very impressed with the centre, a true accolade for Rotherham - Well done!
