"I was recently admitted as an emergency..."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

What I liked

I was recently admitted as an emergency to ward C3 staying in for 3 days all of the nurses were extremely pleasant, friendly and very careingand very busy but nothing was to much trouble for them.

What could be improved

The food didnt seem as good as it used to be.

A week later i had an mri scan which came through very quickly and they were extremely efficient that was nearly 2 weeks ago i have not had the results yet just wondering how long it takes as still in some discomfort.

Anything else?

Please pass on my thanks to all your hard working staff.

Thank you for your positive feedback about the staff on ward C3 following your recent stay here at Stepping Hill Hospital - I will ensure that ward staff are made aware of your kind words.

Thank you also for your feedback on the quality of the food, I will pass this comment to our Catering Manager.

Finally, I would like to say how sorry I am that you are still in some discomfort and still waiting for the results of your MRI scan which you had over 2 weeks ago. In hospital all test results are reported back to the person who asked for the test to be carried out - this is usually your consultant - and therefore I would like to suggest that you contact your Consultant's Secretary here at Stepping Hill Hospital as the results should be with them by now - alternatively the Consultant may by now have written to your GP and if you contact your GP they may be able to advise you of the result and if this is not the case they may be able to chase up the results on your behalf.

I hope the above suggestions are useful and wish you all the best for the future
