I actually work for the NHS and have a contribution towards booking patients in.. firstly I think they over book clinics way too much. I arrived for my app at 8:40 only to have my files got messed up to wait till 12:20 for my blood pressure and a table which takes 2 hours to kick in, they forgot to ask me any proper questions aswell. I was having a surgical abortion today.. which I've only just Had and it's 5:30pm... so I have not eaten or drank all day and the best the nurses could offfer me is the drip?!
the manager had told me due to different circumstances people may go in quicker .. strangely enough after theatre I saw them all in the recovery room.. so I fact I found out they'd had the same procedure but gone in earlier !!
Honestly the whole day I wanted to cry.Its traumatic enough being here but the wait drives you crazy and the service when you walk in the door is awful!!! Despite talking to manager nothing really happens.. luckily enough, after the surgery the nurses were amazing! Have to admit the After care was Lovely, nurses actually trying to help you and make you feel better .
One receptionist really needs some sort of customer service training.. has absolute no morals and does not know how to speak to people.. luckily the other receptionist has consideration towards others.
"Worst experience in my life"
