A proper assessment might have been a good start how on earth you can triage an injury without actually looking at the patient is a mystery after waiting nearly an hour for triage for my daughter who had been hit in the eye with a wooden jewelry box you would think the nurse would look at her eye but know she scribbled on the form at a rate of knots checked her temperature??? And oxygen levels???? And sent us back to the waiting room no wonder there was a 3 hour waiting period the whole point of triage is to assess urgency but it is obviously just another fill in the form and pass it on exercise I'll be going to Airedale in future

We ended up walking out without being seen as 3 hours is way too long for a child to be waiting
