"My Surgery"

About: Derriford Hospital / Neurology

I was A patient in October. I would like to firstly thank the consultant and their team team for the outstanding job that they did with me. There were a couple of complications which they dealt without compromising the length of time I spent in the Hospital, which is very important to me. It was the first time that I had been to Derriford Hospital and I was very nervous but right from my first meeting with the consultant and the rest of the staff I felt at ease. On the day of the surgery I was extremely nervous but from the time I walked into the hospital to the time that I left all of the staff were brilliant and made me feel like a person and not a patient. They were very kind, understanding and professional as I'm not the easiest person to deal with.

Anyway I just wanted to say to the consultant and all of the staff at Derriford thank you for giving me my life back.
