I have had four joint replacements over two and a half years in this hospital and found every aspect of the treatment to be of a high quality. The most striking thing is that all the staff seem to take a pride in their work whether it be housekeeping or medical care.
I have the feeling that staff must be carefully chosen for their personal qualities in dealing with patients and one another. No-one was dismissive or reluctant to help when asked and all staff remained pleasant even when they could have been under pressure. I felt as though I was treated as an individual and not just one of a number undergoing the same operation.
My overwhelming conclusion is that all the staff feel valued and important as part of a team, whichever part of the care they carry out. Patients therefore feel more relaxed and less stressed, assured they are getting the best care. I did!
I am almost at the end of my post operative treatment and feel I would like to recommend this hospital to others, most importantly because the people who staff it are exceptional and genuinely caring.
"Consistently good treatment within all aspects..."
