"Waiting times"

About: Wansbeck Hospital

My husband is waiting for a colonoscopy to rule out cancer the referrals was put in two weeks ago but he won’t be seen until 9th November. I have kidney cancer and my first appointment was within two weeks and now I have to see skin specialist to rule out skin cancer once again two weeks. We tried all the other hospitals to get seen earlier so we didn’t clash but not one person helped us, unfortunately I am also going through a breakdown made worse by the waiting to see if my husband has the all clear or not. It’s causing a stressful all round for both of us especially when you have bipolar and a lot of extra stress for my husband as we only have each other to care for us so this waiting game is exceptional stressful
