The staff and cleanliness were fab. Very welcoming and nurses were very supportive and lovely. If you are having surgical be prepared to be there for a full day! I was there 5 hours before I even got called down to be gowned up to wait to go into theatre. Far too long when you are very anxious, nervous and scared! Also I wasn't allowed to eat or drink 5 hours before so i went 10 hours without a drink or food. Sedation is the best option worked well for me. Was up and about like normal half an hour after being in recovery. Aftercare nurses were really nice very supportive and warming. Drinks, biscuits and heat pads provided in recovery. If you take anyone to support you they are not allowed to go through with you they get sent to a waiting area with refreshments so they may aswell just go home saves them the long boring wait. Protesters were outside on the public path trying to preach but adviced to not engage with them and to just carry on walking. Overall satisfied fully with my treatment the wait was just too much.
