My mum was admitted to the Intensive Therapy Unit in August and was looked after there for 8 weeks due to being taken severely ill very suddenly.

The care and treatment she received there was second to none. All of the nurses, doctors, physiotherapists and other members of staff involved were understanding, compassionate and respectful; both to my mum and the rest of the family. We were always kept well informed and were included in making any decisions.

We couldn't have asked for a better place for my mum to be treated and we will always be eternally grateful to every person that treated her and helped us through such a difficult time - she wouldn't still be here without their unfaltering professionalism and dedication.
