About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

I'd like to say that my husband and I are extremely grateful to the staff from ward 12. Our son was a very pre-term baby and spent over a year at Leicester. He received various treatments and surgeries and we were very confident in the staff's ability to care for him.

We aren't local to Leicester and have an older child so we couldn't spend overnights with our baby but we knew he was in very capable hands.

Not only did our son receive excellent care but the staff truly bonded with him and treated him like family. We are closer to home now but we still receive an enormously warm welcome when we visit for follow-up appointments.

Without LRI, our son wouldn't be here today.

We couldn't be more grateful!
