"Superb staff and experience"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Recently attended the Day Recovery Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital Dunfermline and couldn’t fault my experience. Staff were excellent from minute one. Very attentive and caring. Ward staff, anaesthetists and all others I encountered were pleasant and did their best to put you at ease. Special shout out to Emma, who was my day nurse, couldn’t fault her. Having never been for surgery before I was pretty apprehensive. Had I known things were going to be like this, I wouldn’t have bothered! Hopefully I don’t have to come back but if I do at least I know the care I will get will be first class. Keep up the good work!

Dear Stonesy09

Thank you for your very kind comments regarding the care you received at the Day Surgery Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital, the staff aim to deliver patient centred care and it looks like we got it just right for you. Coming into hospital for surgery for the first time can make you apprehensive and im glad the staff tried their best to put you at ease. I will pass your comments on to all the staff including theatres and Emma, and we will keep up the good work. I hope you're recovery is going well.

Kind Regards

Nola
