"Grateful I was referred to mindfulness"

About: Six Degrees IAPT

(as a service user),

Initially I found accessing 6 degrees really hard- I work full time at a hospital and the only appointment I could get was in weeks time and it was really stressful trying to get out of work to attend. Then I found the one-to-one sessions not very helpful- I didn't feel the facilitator tried to understand me at all.

Now I am so grateful she referred me to mindfulness- it was a great experience. The facilitators were accepting, welcoming and non-judgmental. I hope I have learnt some techniques which will help me tackle the next difficulties life throws at me.
