"Great delivery and maternity teams"

I went in for an elective section in October, and throughout our time there, the staff treated us with dignity, respect, kindness and consideration. From thoughtful questions after introductions in the delivery suite ( music choice!!! Announcing the sex of the baby, making sure my partner was as comfortable with proceeding’s as I was) to a gratefully received cup of tea when I needed it and spotlessly clean bathrooms, everyone we came into contact with was a caring and compassionate professional. You could see the staff were under enormous pressure, but they never let that divert from the fact that they were providing care. My son spent a short time in the Neonatal unit, and once again staff ensured we were fully informed of any actions they took, and explained what was going to happen before it happened - very reassuring.
