About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

After attending Wansbeck hospital A&E and being told I had broken my wrist I was given a appointment at the Trauma centre at Cramlington for the following day .From walking through the main entrance to leaving the staff were all very helpful and friendly .Unfortunately I waited over a hour past my appointment to be seen and no waiting time update on the board from 8am (my appointment was 10am) this was the only fault. However once my turn I was dealt with very quickly and was in plaster in record time .I was impressed with all the staff and the care shown .

Dear Steph,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review and thank you for being patient during the wait for your appointment. I know this can be frustrating, but please be assured I will pass this information on so the team can look into it.

I’m really pleased that once you were seen you were treated so well by all the staff you came across, I know that they will be proud of the care that they provided to you.

I hope that your wrist is healing well.

Best wishes,

Jessica
