"repeat prescriptions"

Put repeat prescruptions in Tuesday before Easter for my husband and myself. Called at pharmacy yesterday and no sign of mine!Telephoned gp surgery and receptioniust asked if I had put a repeat in!yes Tuesday before Easter with my husband's, could not locate it then said it was with gp for review. 4 days after ( excl hols)submitting! Later had a telephone call needed a blood test and blood pressure checking yet only had them 6 mths ago! Nurse said then they were trying to get everyone having them around their birthdays mine Sept. Later still had another tel cal for asthma review! Had blood test etc an hr ago asthma review next week! Nurse said that GP needed blood pressure etc before authorising repeat prescription! Now out of inhaler, + 5 other meds which are not available over counter!going to have to tel surgery in morning to ask for an appointment with GP to receive repeat prescription medication! Totally absolutely disgraceful.
