Some days they just DON'T answer. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of professionalism, care, and humanity displayed at this farce of a surgery. If it closed down today it would make absolutely no difference as it may as well not exist at the rate it is going!I don't know if they just ignore the ringing of the phones but this goes beyond a joke! 30 minutes for a queue of 2 people! ... Making an appointment is next to impossible and god forbid you request an emergency appointment/prescription! I've had staff ask me to wait three days for a slot for emergency asthma medication! Three days without that = a quick hospital visit! Right now struggling to get a prescription filled for anti-depressants three days without = major depressive episode. This is am absolute outrage; I am beyond dissatisfied.

Hello and thank you for your comments. I have read your post and I do think it would be more appropriate to arrange a face to face discussion to look into the problems you have been having. Do you think you can make contact with us so we can arrange this?

We have reception staff answering the telephones all day but they do have periods when it is very busy and it is difficult to get through. You may wish to set up an online account where you can book your own appointments (Please see our website) or you may wish to use the 24 hour automated system where you can book, change and cancel appointments 24 hours a day for 7 days a week. Please dial the surgery on 0113 242 7424 and choose option 1
