These have been my local GP for years. Their total utter incompetence never ceases to amaze me:
- If you're lucky enough to get an appointment you'll probably see a nurse practitioner rather than a doctors.
- Regardless who you get you'll be wrong diagnosed (I complained about an issue to them for 2 years which they didn't take seriously until my symptoms got worse and finally I got referred to a hospital that were shocked that the doctors hadn't referred earlier or picked up on any of the signs of the 4 serious conditions i had). I've actually been wrongly diagnosed on 3 separate occasions.
- They don't speak to each other (receptionists, doctors, nurses), they rarely read the notes on your file.
- They often cancel appointments (like my treatment appointment tomorrow that I need before I go on holiday next week, the next time they can see me is next month).
- Their appointments are usually run at least 30 minutes behind, not unusual to wait an hour after your scheduled time.
I know their are increased demands on GP's but I can say with confidence this GPs is not operating even near efficiency or effectively. My most recent appointment was a total waste of my time & the consultants time due to them not having chased my hospital letter that I had phoned up about on 4 occasions earlier that week and the week before.
- What a joke.
The good news is I move house next month - good riddance!
