What could be improved

I waited 1 hour 15minutes beyond my appointment time to be seen. No explanation or apolgy received. Not good enough really.

Anything else?

The receptionist had a couldn't care less attitude to their work or patients.

We are very sorry to hear that you had to wait so long , and that you were not given an explanation or apology.

Whilst we are not always able to keep appointments to time, we feel strongly that it is improtant to advise patients when there is a delay and to offer both an apology and an explanation for this.

We have recently developed a guide which will be used on all of our reception desks in collabaration with patients, who have worked with us to design guidelines which will enusre patients receive an exceptional service. The guidelines will be rolled out to all of our reception staff across our Trust early in the new year.
