About: Robin Lane Health and Wellbeing Centre

Overall the surgery is ok, I do feel that there needs to be more cover on the walk in service as I would imagine most people would use this as opposed to booking an actual appointment. There have been a number of occasions recently whereby we have been waiting an hour my husband was waiting over 2 as was forgotten about. I can't understand why when an appointment is book you can still be waiting when your only allowed to talk about 1 problem. On a positive note staff are courteous, results of any tests have always come back quickly I've been advised.

Hi there and thanks for taking the time to comment.

When planning our clinicians rota we need to cover the walk in service sufficiently and retain some pre-bookable clinics for those who prefer to make an appointment. In terms of cover for the walk in service we use patient attendance numbers from the previous year to predict how busy different days will be, and staff accordingly.

I'm really sorry to hear you've had a bad experience recently with the walk in, and feel your husband was forgotten about.

Pre bookable appointments are limited to ten minutes so there is often only chance to discuss one issue, although the clinician will optimise what they can do for you within this time.

We would always welcome your feedback in future.

Yours Sincerely

Florence

Practice Manager
