What I liked
discharging myself....ending the torment and lies that I had to endure during my stay.
What could be improved
Nurses should be trained further in patient care.....I felt like a was a piece of cattle that was just being shunted from one place to another...including a 3am move, which woke up every one on both of the wards involved. (19 & 22.) Staff repeatedly moved the goalpost on when my operation would be carried out.......resulting in 3 days nil by mouth! (which seemed to be a standard practice from other patients experiences.) I am still traumatised by the horrendous treatment that I suffered during the 3 days that I was there, which subsequently ended up with me discharging myself as I couldn't take any more. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone and pray that I never end up there again.
