Getting through the A&E triage proved impossible but once admitted via an alternative route the diagnoses and treatment was fantastic.

The professionalism and patient care by key staff working under constant and considerable pressure due to high demand was awe inspiring and I shall always be grateful for the way I was treated with dignity and respect as the awfulness of my situation became clearer.

The RUH surgery and cancer teams saved my life, for which I can never thank them enough.
