In March this year I had an Addison’s Crisis which meant I had to have a injection of Hydrocortisone. The Ambulance response was very timely. The Paramedics heard me and were able to give me the life saving injection before taking me to RAH Paisley.
The Paramedics were very professional and very reassuring. They took me to the hospital and I was admitted to A & E initially. They fully explained to staff my condition and the actions they had taken. After admittance I was diagnosed with a chest infection and pneumonia in both my lungs. I am still recovering with lots of tests to get to the bottom of my condition.
I can only reiterate the excellent care and attention I received from the Paramedics. If they are an example of the Scottish Ambulance Service then we are all in safe hands.
I hope I thanked them although I know my family did at the time.
