Well, if you are considering an pregnancy ultrasound at Queen Charlotte's then think again.
I went for my 12 weeks scan and the Sonographer was absolutely appalling. They didn't introduce herself, didn't ask our names and made no effort to create any sort of dialogue. They then got cross when I didn't have enough liquid in my bladder and moaned at me for being constipated. They ejected me from the room and then sent me off to get more water. Went back in after drinking over 1ltr of water and they still couldn't get a good scan. They huffed and puffed, commented about an internal scan and then gave up. Wrote down some numbers on the paper and finally right at the end said "it looks normal". No explanation, no interest.
I really hope that no others get this experience as it made me feel extremely anxious and unsettled. In the end my husband encouraged me to go and get a private scan as he wanted to make up for the awful experience.
I really hope that someone reads these reviews and addresses this situation to prevent others from having such a dreadful experience.
"12 week scan - completely crushed pregnancy..."
