"Not recommended"

Unprofessional ward staff can be heard gossiping about patients. Call bells not answered for 30 minutes time and time again. Staff can be heard bullying patients by insisting things are done their way rather than patients choice. Food and drinks carried and left on trays with no coverings cannot be hygienic. A general lack of care and empathy towards people at their most vulnerable that I found shocking.

However, theatre staff were excellent.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

As you can imagine, this is extremely disappointing to hear. The Hospital Management have spoken with the relevant department leads and they are unaware of any complaint made recently to staff or through hospital channels. We take any complaints very seriously and will lead a full investigation into any that are made. However, due to the anonymity of this feedback and having not received any complaint at the time or since, it is extremely difficult to assess the viability of this feedback. We would very much like to hear from the patient involved.

If they would like to speak with our Director of Clinical Services about their experience we will investigate this.
