"Very long waiting list"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

I had an assessment appointment with a junior doctor in June 2016 and then had a follow up appointment with the Dietician in July 2016. I had to wait for sleep clinic appointments as part of the bariatric assessment and finally went on the bariatric waiting list in December 2016. 42 weeks later, I'm still waiting for the surgery, with my health deteriorating every passing week. I call every couple of weeks for an update. The latest from the bariatric co-ordinator is that I am likely to be waiting at least another 3 months. It's now started to effect my mental health, as well as my physical health.
