What I liked

I was extremely well treated by the nursing staff during my visit to the Minor Injury Unit. The person who dealt with my injured ankle was very helpful and made sure that all necessary treatment was arranged.

What could be improved

X-ray facilities on the weekend (this would prevent a repeat visit to the MIU).

Thank you for your suggestion, however the X Ray service is delivered by Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust and it is not deemed viable to have weekend provision in the Community Hospitals.

If the treatment is urgent patients are redirected to the nearest acute hospital which would be either Treliske in Truro or West Cornwall in Penzance.
