"Pain management, more like pain prison sentence"

About: Boston Health Clinic / Pain management

Yesterday 12-10-17 I went for an appointment with the consultant for the pain clinic. I was told that it would be to talk about options and a possible injection to reduce my pain so I can function and have some sort of life. He was very uncaring, unhelpful and it left me feeling like I should just go home and wait to die to get any relief from my pain. Apparently I am not eligible for any injection as I have pain in other areas not just my back and he won't change my medication but didn't give any reason. This made me think he just didn't want to. I came out in floods of tears thinking I am sentenced to a life of pain with no hope of ever improving. I am heartbroken, destroyed and depressed, feeling unsupported and wondering what the point of going was.i have no idea what my future holds but so far it's looking dark.would not recommend anyone who suffers chronic pain to go.
