"My daughter found this person to be rude"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Came to hairmyres a&e and was brought to a cubicle.

I had a nurse who I found to be obnoxious and totally unlikable. When they were taking my medical history, they seemed totally disinterested and looked bored. 

My daughter found this person to be rude when they were talking. They honestly seemed as if they didn't want to be there. 

I had my bloods done and other tests and was discharged with a plan of care.  I would like to say a thank you to the lovely Dr from Inverness who was so lovely and listened to me and my daughter's concerns about my health.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience. It is important for staff to receive feedback and reflect on their actions. I am very sorry to hear that a nurse appeared rude and disinterested. I expect all staff to be courteous and professional at all times. This would give us the opportunity to explore your concerns further.

I will share your comments with the doctor and am pleased they took the time to listen to you and your daughter.

My sincere apologies that the nursing staff did not also provide this care and reassurance. I hope that you will be in contact so that the nurse can learn more from your feedback.
