I am receiving visits from a member of the SALT team in connection with Swallowing Problems. The member of staff is a fantastic expert in their field. They are understanding and takes on board my problems. They listens and suggests ways to help me. They review me frequently doing their best to visit to fit in around my Cardiac Care. I could not wish for anyone better to help guide me through this problem. Thank you to this special member of staff who gives very special care to me.
During a recent stay on Ward 1 I was visited by an inpatient member of the SALT team. To have this continuity whilst I was in your hospital. This was brilliant. This member of staff phoned me up at home following my discharge to see how I was getting on. That is a good care!
