"I really don't know where to start, I..."

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital

What I liked

I really don't know where to start, I was amazed how some people found things to moan about! I spent quite a while in A & E waiting for a bed on a ward, what an education! Everyone of the staff worked tirelessly all day, they were always kind, friendly professional, helpful, they were fantastic! Nobody has ever been able to say a bad thing about the NHS to me as my familiy have had the most amazing treatment over the years. This was the first time that I had ever been in hospital sick, previously only been in when having babies and I couldn't fault the treatment, I doubt that if I had paid for it the actual treatment and the staff couldn't have been better. The cleaners were permanently cleaning, the nursing assistants didn't stop, neither did the nurses or doctors, but they were always cheerful.

The person (from the Red team) who came out to me at home was fab too.

Thank you all so very much for giving me so much help and for making me feel that I am now being cared for by such wonderful teams. Keep up the good work.

Debbie

What could be improved

I'm sure there are plenty of things that can be improved, none of us can ever sit on our Laurels. For me it would have been better if I could have gone to a room quicker, but having said that I was very comfortable and really well looked after in A & E. In the ward that I was in it would have been great to had a television or at least a radio - apart from that in the time I was there I could hardly fault it.

Anything else?

Nothing more than thank you all - keep up the good work, you're brilliant.
