My husband had appointment for oncology department 25september, he had been sent for Mri scan a few weeks before by surgeon who performed bowel surgery ,on him, just to check how things were progressing, he then had letter requesting he saw surgeon who had performed bladder surgery on my husband 2013 4years previously , we were told by bowel surgeon something had cropped up in my husbands lungs that was possibly from the bladder,we went to see bladder surgeon who came in and said same , my husband is hard of hearing and couldn't really hear what was said so doctor shouted louder stating is that loud enough and then shouted even louder which at this point his voice echoed in his ears he then on only seeing my husband for ten minutes at most told him he wasn't giving any treatment, they only gave treatment to people who enjoy life and had quality of life and to get in touch with McMillon nurses, that I find disgusting I tried to tell them we have looked after our two great grandchildren aged 3 &4 while parents work for two years and still do we go out for pub meals he still drives we go out places he as quality of life , tell his family he doesn't they would not be impressed he hadn't been out for two or three days but been out a lot since what right as someone to say he as no life to live after seeing him for ten minutes Im his wife of 54 years I know , not giving him chemo is not the issue respect for him is and empathy
