"pocu and Arethusa ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

On the 28th september i got to the pre operative care unit at 6.45 am,booked in at 8am,in the room at 9 00pm,staff kind and helpful,at 1pm told to get ready for theatre,at 1 40pm theatre staff came to get me for my left knee Eua,Arthoscopy,Partial Medial Meniscetomy,felt totly at ease with theatre staff,woke at about 3 30pm in recovery,pain relief administered twice,at 6pm they put me on a bed as no ward beds,sfaff nice and friendly,was told at 9 pm that i might have to send the night in recovery,i didnt mind,at 11 15pm i was told theres a bed on Arethusa ward,got on to the ward night staff nice and friendly,the next morning seen by physios,they ordering me moulded crutches,i was sick alot during my 5 day stay,all staff nice and frindly,the care i was given was excellent,the only bad part was waiting for my tablets from pharmacy,havent recieved moulded crutches yet 12.10.17, thanks again everyone
